Inspite of the rapid technological advancements in the last decade, cotton contamination remains a problematic issue for the spinners. At the same time, the yarn and fabric buyers have stepped up the demand for a very low level of the contamination in the yarn/fabric.
It is well a known fact that immediately after the first opener, the tuft size is bigger and hard when compared to the tuft size after the final beater of the blow room. At this stage the contaminations are mostly of larger size and are converted into multiple smaller ones while passing through the various openers and beaters. Additionally, there is a difference in the material travelling speed for bigger and smaller tuft size for a given air velocity. Hence, there is a need for a specialized contamination detection system suitable for the beginning and the end of the line in the blow room.

First of its kind, the Xeni series of contamination detectors are now specifically designed for the beginning and the end of the line in the Blow room. Together, they demonstrate the power of intelligent technology in providing high operating performance and superior reliability.
Xeni F is suitable for the beginning of the line and is optimized to handle bigger tufts. This versatile contamination detector employs the "Photo Detector" technology and a patented "Transfer Zone" ejection system.
Xeni 2 is an intelligent solution designed for finer tufts running at higher speeds. It incorporates an ultrasonic module for detecting embedded white PP and a CCD array for detecting contamination of different types and sizes. The "Transfer Zone" ejection system ensures minimum lint loss.
